Canadian Experience Class Fee & Cost
The fees for entry into Canada Express Entry (EE) program under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category include:
- Application Processing Fee:
- C$ 825 per person, and
- C$ 225 per dependent child (who is less than 22 years of age and not economically independent).
- Right of Permanent Residence (PR) Fee:
- C$ 500 per person.
- Dependent children are exempted from this fee.
- Biometrics Fee:
- C$ 85 for an individual, or
- C$170 for two or more co-applicants.
The total cost of the PR application costs much more as it includes the cost of Educational Credential Assessments (ECA), language tests, medical examinations, notaries, translations, police/security certificates, courier charges, etc.
Canadian Experience Class applicants are exempted from showing proof of settlement funds which is a big relief for budget-conscious people.
V2I experts suggest that paying all the fees at once can quicken up your visa and PR processing process.
