    IELTS Exam Fee 2021

    IELTS is an abbreviation for the International English Language Testing System. The IELTS is owned and carried out by the IDP Education Australia, Cambridge English Language Assignment, and the British Council collectively. The test is to examine the English proficiency of candidates.

    The exam takes place via computer or paper. The score range of this test starts from one to nine, where one is the lowest.

    Fee Structure of the IELTS 

    • A sum of INR 14,700 is charged as the registration fee for this test, for giving the test in India.
    • If you are somebody who wants to give the test from the United Kingdom, you will be charged a fee of £190 for registration. 
    • In the United States of America, the cost of registration ranges from $245–255. 
    • In Canada, CAD 309 is charged for Ontario and Kitchener. For all areas outside of these two cities, CAD 319 are charged.
    • For Australia, the price of the IELTS test remains AUD 375.
    • In Saudi Arabia, SAR 1300 is charged as the fee for the test. 

    IELTS Cancellation Fee 

    • In case your IELTS application gets cancelled for more than 35 days before the test, the refund will be only seventy-five per cent of what you paid as a registration fee. This implies that 25% is deducted as a cancellation fee.
    • In case the IELTS exam is cancelled by the candidate less than 35 days before the test date, there will be no refund.
    • In case the candidate fails to be present for the test, there will be no refund and it will be considered as a cancellation.

    Important: For those who provide a medical certificate within five days of the test, a refund can be initiated after the deduction of some local administrative charges.

    IELTS Rescheduling Fee 

    In case the candidate wishes to reschedule or change his or her date of examination, it can be done on request. There should be a margin of at least 35 days before the test date. Moreover, there is a cancellation/ postponement fee that is charged. Other than this, the new test date must be within three months of the previous test date.
