- You can also make cash payments at the Visa Application Center (VAC). The processing fee is paid when the application is submitted.
- You will be provided with a fee receipt of online payment.
- The processing fee of the student visa application does not include the VAC service charges.
- These service charges vary as per region from where you are applying for the student visa.

Along with the Canadian student visa fee, there are some other costs associated with studying in Canada that you must keep in mind. These include:
- Canadian tuition fee: The tuition fee ranges from CAD 8500 0 65000 per year. This fee depends upon the program and the college/university where you are applying. It further also depends on whether the course you are applying for is of an undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Cost of living: As per the Canadian Student Visa Requirements, a student must have at least CAD 10000 above the tuition fee.
You must also note that as a student you have the permission to work part-time to support yourself in Canada while you are studying. You can work part-time during the summer or winter holidays without a permit. Students can also apply for a post-graduation work permit which grants them the eligibility to work in Canada after completing their post-graduation study.
