You can book the slots for the PTE exam up to 24 hours before the test. However, if you book the PTE test within 48 hours of the exam, you have to pay the Late Booking Fee of INR 695. It means that students will have to pay INR 14,395 if they book a slot for the PTE exam within 2 days of the examination day. 

Charges for Cancelling or Rescheduling the PTE Exam

You can reschedule the PTE exam or cancel your booking. If you do not want to sit for the PTE Academic exam, you can cancel your booking 14 days before the test date and claim a refund.

Cancellation Fee for the PTE Exam

• If you cancel your booking for the PTE Academic test 14 days before the test date, you can claim a 100% refund. 
• If you cancel the test between 7 and 13 days before the exam date, you can only claim a 50% refund.
• If you cancel the exam within 6 days of the examination date, you get no refund.

Rescheduling Fee for the PTE Exam

Similar to cancellation charges, a rescheduling fee is charged based on how many days before the examination date you initiate the process.

•  If you reschedule 14 days before the original PTE test date, you don’t have to pay anything.
• If you reschedule between 7 and 13 days before the exam date, you have to pay 50% of the test fee as the rescheduling fee.
• If you reschedule the PTE exam within 6 days of the examination date, you have to pay the entire test fee again.
